- Develop territory business plan to exceed territory sales targets
- Manage sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Maintain and grow business in established accounts, and expand business with new account development
- Responsible for both consumable and instrument sales
- Approximately 20% travel
- BS in life science discipline
- 3+ years life science sales experience with a proven track record of success
- Strong prospecting skills and ability to build a pipeline
- Well established network in regional academic, biotech and pharma accounts
- Previous experience in a startup or high growth company culture a plus
- Results oriented. Passionate and dedicated to selling innovative technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player; able to work successfully in a collaborative and highly matrixed environment
