Responsible for managing, mentoring and leading sales team to achieve sales quotas.

Our client is a global provider of reagents, assays and services for the life science and drug discovery market.  They are well respected for quality products and high integrity company culture.  We are seeking candidates for a sales team leadership role, managing a group of 8 sales representatives calling on the biotech and pharma market segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop regional business plan to exceed sales quotas
  • Manage, motivate and lead a team of Key Account Managers, calling on biotech and pharma accounts throughout the US
  • Travel up to 50%


  • BS in life science discipline; advanced degree a plus
  • 2+ years life science sales management experience (ideally in reagents/consumables)
  • Strong technical knowledge in cell based assays, western blotting, flow cytometry, IHC and other antibody based applications.
  • Proven track record of selling into industry accounts (biotech, pharma, CRO, etc.)
  • Ability to build rapport with team members, and allowing them to achieve at their highest abilities
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
