Support customers in the pre- and post-sales process, providing technical presentations, demos, training and troubleshooting.

Our client is a young, innovative company, with a newly launched breakthrough technology for proteomics research.  We are seeking an experienced FAS with expertise in one or more of these 3 areas: NGS, proteomics or mass spectrometry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in evaluating technology through product demonstrations and technical presentations
  • Provide customer training and troubleshooting
  • Contribute to the publication of scientific and marketing documents
  • Perform regular literature reviews, identify key opinion leaders, and provide market feedback to marketing and development teams for product enhancements and new applications
  • Represent company at vendor shows and present at scientific meetings

Qualifications

  • BS in Life Science Discipline; MS or PhD preferred
  • 2+ years experience in field applications, technical support and/or core lab management
  • Strong technical knowledge of NGS, proteomics and/or Mass Spec
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Passion to solve problems, troubleshoot and train other scientists
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Able to travel 50-75%
